How Do I Enable My Mac Keyboard Shortcut
Sometimes, the Mac keyboard symbols you need are only available in another language — say, they could be Cyrillic-based. To access them, you'd need to enable another keyboard layout on your Mac. Download and install driver. Download the unofficial Mac keyboard layout Zip file. Extract the files on to your hard disk and run the Setup file. This will automatically install the keyboard.

Connect to your iPad
Unlike Bluetooth keyboards, you don't need to pair or turn on your Smart Keyboard Folio or Smart Keyboard.
If you have an iPad Pro 11-inch (1st or 2nd generation) or iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd or 4th generation): Connect your Smart Keyboard Folio to your iPad Pro with the Smart Connector. The Smart Connector is on the back of your iPad Pro, and has three small, magnetic contacts. Then put your iPad in the Type position.

To show the software keyboard, tap the keyboard button in the lower-right corner of the screen. In the menu that appears, tap the show keyboard button . To hide the software keyboard, tap the dismiss button .

- Make sure that your iPad and Smart Keyboard Folio or Smart Keyboard are in the Type position and that you have the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.
- Remove the Smart Keyboard Folio or Smart Keyboard from your iPad.
- Restart your iPad.
- Reconnect the Smart Keyboard Folio or Smart Keyboard.
Alt key on Mac is indeed exist. And it's called Option key.

Where is the Alt key on a Mac keyboard?
The PC-keyboard equivalent of Alt on a Mac is called the Option key, and you'll find the Option Key on your Mac if you go two keys to the left of the spacebar. However, the option key on a Mac keyboard is used in a different way than the alt key on a Windows PC. In terms of functionality, the alt key in Windows is often more comparable with the Command key than with the Option key on a Mac. You might be also familiar with the Ctrl and Alt keys from your PC. On your Mac keyboard, you have Command (⌘ cmd), Control (ctrl), and Option (⌥ alt) keys.
